Moving Object Support System (MOSS)
MOSS is the HST ground subsystem that provides essential information about
moving targets. "Moving Targets" are defined to be planets, moons, asteroids,
and comets. The main function of MOSS is to generate moving target ephemeris
files with associated target visibility windows. MOSS currently consists
of just one primary program named 'Percy'. Percy is currently only available
on the Sparc Solaris platforn.
