How to Get Percy


Percy is available for non-comercial use, subject to a no cost license agreement. However, the software is currently only available in executable form for the SPARC/UltraSPARC Solaris platform. The program source code is not currently available for distribution.

Percy uses the SPICE software, developed by the NAIF group at JPL, to process raw ephemeris files (.bsp files). STScI does not officially distribute .bsp files. Contact NAIF for information and to obtain any needed .bsp files.

Use of Percy is subject to the terms of the Percy License Agreement. Please read the license agreement carefully. It is available in Postscript or PDF formats.
